About Us
Mission Statement
The Pahaquarry Association for History and the Arts (PAHA) has formed with the intention of preserving and maintaining the historic integrity and cultural resources in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWGNRA).
Our organization is an arts and historical supporting group that aspires to establish a permanent home inside the DWGNRA. We intend to rehabilitate buildings within the DWGNRA and open them to artists of all genres, students and historians, as a cultural center and retreat, for study and entertainment.
PAHA will dedicate its time and resources to support the arts, history and scholarships. We will provide en plein air programs, such as painting and photography, for adults and students and offer worksh

ops for writers and visual artists. PAHA will also provide exhibition venues for the artists and photographers participating in our events and offer a forum for writers.
PAHA will work with other institutions and commissions to help preserve the historic integrity of this wonderful landscape and its structures. We will seek organizations with similar interests, within and outside the region, to further our goal of good stewardship and maintenance of the DWGNRA.
